the paper version of the web

It’s easy to under estimate the power of a pen and paper.

here is a simple web design rule:

don’t forget to sketch it out on paper before typing a single line of code!

This is more or less a reminder to myself!

The guys at deeplinking have a blog post titled, the paper version of the web with sample sketches.

animator vs. animation

I found this really cool animation while catching up on RSS feeds today. Alan Becker created the 1st Animator vs. Animation back in 2006 and has taken it to the next level with part 2.

He takes the Adobe Flash user interface and uses it as his canvas to create a very entertaining flash movie.

Porsche 914 blueprint

Mario Seijo's 1975, Porsche 914

The Porsche 914 is a design beauty. I love the hard lines and the low profile body stance.

I only drive my 914 during the summer months due to the cold weather in Seattle. Today I started the car and ran it for a few minutes in the driveway just to see if it still worked. As soon as I heard the engine turn over and start, I got a big smile on my face; it was great!

Update:
I’ve noticed a lot of people are hitting this post.  Out of curiosity… I’d like to hear from other Porsche 914 owners out there.  Do you have a 914? Do you drive it all the time? please share your comments below.

Enjoy the blueprint!
