Opera Mobile 8.65 BETA

This week I’m trying out the latest bits from Opera. Opera 8.65 for Windows Mobile BETA.

Opera Mobile

My favorite feature so far is the Tabbed browsing. But as I previously wrote Mozilla Minimo already had this feature with their 0.2 version.

I may have to ditch pocket IE because of their lack of support for javascript. This browser on the other hand, does a fantastic job processing javascript (yes, I double checked!).

Unfortunately, I only have until Oct 1st to enjoy this beta.

Voltsporsche Kit

Electro Automotive has created the Voltsporsche Kit, an electro conversion kit specifically built for the Porsche 914.

The kit replaces the standard 4 cylinder engine with a 120-volt system capable of producing 85 mph top speed and 80 to 100 miles per charge.

I really like that fact that I will be able to drive up to 100 miles before having to recharge. The price of the kit is currently $13,415

I’m definitely considering purchasing this kit for my 1975 Porsche 914.
