I’ve been hearing some good things about Wine, mainly that it allows you to run Windows programs on Linux — so I decided to give it a try.
Geek moment
The installation procedure on Fedora Core 6 was extremely easy.
From the command line, just type: yum install wine and let the scripts do their magic.
My goal is to be able to sync my Pocket PC (running Windows Mobile 5) with my Linux machines.
I will follow up with comments on my progress…
