Fake bluetooth headsets

The PhoneArena team posted an article called Counterfeit Headsets - How to recognize and avoid them; what are the differences?

I immediately checked my Jabra JX10 and guess what — yep. it’s fake. What a bummer; at least this explains why I was having performance issues with the headset.

the perfect excuse, I mean reason, to start looking at the new Jawbone headset. it looks really cool. very minimalist in style, and has the noise canceling function.

I got it from Ebay. My first attempt was to buy it from a seller in China, but they never shipped it and I ended up disputing the charge after waiting for 2 weeks.
My second attempt, was to buy the item from a seller in the U.S. The cost was higher than the ones from China, but I thought what the heck.

    no more…

did you get stuck with a fake one also?
